Community Craft Projects & Groups
We facilitate structured sessions offering closely guided instruction in making new projects that focus on upcycling and the reuse of 'waste' materials. We have found that by using materials of this nature stimulates individual creativity and inspires people to realise the potential in everyday objects.
Participants in the groups we have worked with have commented that they feel more connected, confident and enjoy the company of others, while learning new skills and overcoming personal challenges, such as social anxiety and loneliness.
Please contact us if your group is interested in upcycling workshops

Sittingbourne Library Craft Group
For the last two and a half years we have been running and growing the ‘Fancy Tat Craft Group’ at our local library. The group is aimed at people within our community who are 55+ years old and who may be experiencing loneliness or a lack of opportunities for social connection. We provide structured sessions offering closely guided instruction in making visual and mixed media projects that focus on upcycling and the reuse of 'waste' materials.
Friendly Faces of Kent
Later this year we are looking forward to facilitating twice monthly craft sessions for Friendly Faces of kent at their Rushenden wellbeing hub.

Communigrow - Craft Yurt Workshops
This summer we are very excited to be working in partnership with Communigrow at their East Malling site to facilitate upcycling workshops in their off grid yurt!
Age uk - Sheerness
Fresh Visions funding enabled us to provide monthly upcycling craft sessions during 2024 at Age UK in Sheerness. We very much enjoyed working with the wonderful staff team and amazing crafters at the Sheerness centre. We hope to work with Age UK again in the future.
